Blackberry - Radio and speaker interference

I recently received a Blackberry 8700G for work, and have noticed a considerable amount of speaker interference on my PC at work. After some searches on the internet, it appears that many cellular phones (and most if not all Blackberry devices) cause this type of radio interference.

According to the many searches I performed, it is caused by GSM and the best way to prevent it is to have magnetically shielded speakers (or additional shielding on your current magnetically shielded speakers). I had always thought that the magnetic shielding was to prevent interference with your monitor or magnetic media (such as floppy and hard disks, but what do I know? I am sure that additionally shielding the speakers would involve taking them apart. While that does intrigue me, it would immediately render them useless (in my case)!

Off I went to my local computer store website and searched for "Magnetically Shielded". I found a pair for $9.99. While I'm sure there are others out there, these were the only ones at that store (in the <$20 price range) that specifically stated "Magnetically Shielded". I tried them today, and they seem to have worked just fine, although I keep thinking that I am hearing very slight noise in the background, but it is so slight that I'm not worried about it. The speakers were Kinyo Model PS-270B. I hope this helps, and good luck!
